Frequently Asked Question

Issues While Connecting Your Sensor
Last Updated a year ago

If you are stuck on the sensor setup please check the following:

That your phone's Bluetooth is turned on.

If you have Bluetooth turned off your phone cannot connect to the sensor to connect it to WiFi.

That you are using a phone with Android 12 or higher.

Due to technical limitations, the app is currently only able to connect to the sensor on Android 12 or higher. If you have a phone with Android 11 or lower, you can try the following temporary workaround:

  1. Log in on a phone with Android 12 or higher using your own phone number.
  2. Follow the instructions to connect the sensor to your home WiFi network.
  3. Log out on the Android 12 phone by going to Settings > Log Out.
  4. Log in on your own phone again. The sensor will already be connected.

Make sure that your sensor's battery is charged.

The reason that you are stuck is that the app is trying to connect to the sensor but is unable to do so. Plug in a charger, make sure the red light on the back side of the sensor comes on, and wait for the app to reconnect to the sensor.
